Well gald we got a win even if I couldn't watch.

Really hope we get to play Kansas even though it would be an arse blasting.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say Turtle has to play better than 0 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist for UGA to be really good this year

Best stat of the game...Kessler and Geno had like 8 minutes of playing time combined

What suprised me the most about minutes last night was Mike Edwards. It seemed like the dude was always on the court while I was watching. Interesting to see what he could turn into, seems like he does all the little stuff right like screens and rebounds but is still raw offensively. The epitome of mark fox basketball.

If he can knock down even 60% of his FTS he should be on the court more.

I was impressed with Turtles defense. He fouled a couple times but if he could avoid that he could be a great perimeter defender. And give Fox another reason to keep Geno off the court

I was actually a big (well, as big as one could be I suppose) fan of KPG last year, because he seemed like one of the ONLY big men off the bench that actually had a hint of offensive game. Similar to John Cannon a few years ago, guy couldnt' do jack shite and could barely run straight but he at least had some touch around the basket. This year KPG just doesnt' really seem to add much value. Edwards doesnt' provide much (if any) offense either but the guy rebounds which is nice.

I'm with most others, I think the rotations fox uses are absolutely maddening and with seemingly no rhyme or reason to them. This isn't 10U rec league, there is absolutely no reason we should be playing 12 guys in a game like this that was within about 10 throughout.

Man if you get this bent out of shape over a basketball win how butt hurt were you after the football team lost to vandy? Are you only here through the miracle of the pills not taking or the noose snapping?

Remember the rotations Fox used against Kentucky in the SEC tournament last year that worked so well? Wonder where that is this year

Have you guys ever followed a college basketball team before? Jesus.

Keep the rotations big early on, get a ton of guys minutes, find out what works. Then tighten that bitch up and ride or die with your best 8 or 9. This is not unusual at all.

we know for a fact that kessler and KPG don't "work". This isn't a 3 game experiement, it's been years. We lost the clemson game because of fox's dumbass subbing. We cut the lead down to 3 then take out everyone who got us there and put in KPG/Kessler/Edwards and got back by 10 again within about 2 minutes.

Kessler never needs to see the floor again ever barring injuries or major foul concerns across the board. He provides absolutely NOTHING other than hustle, which is irrelevant.

Big rotations were exactly what Fox used against UK

They are undefeated and playing probably better than expected considering their coach was fired 2 months ago for verbally assaulting players. That being said, the best team they've had to face this year was the Stevie Wonder School for the Blind so who knows.

Yikes Turtle

ETA: Early observation: This could be a really good defensive team with lots of length and athleticism but Maten and Frazier will have to score a whole lot of points. Need another scorer to emerge

Bad calls and basketball go together like Tech and virgins. Gotta capitalize when they are in your favor

Did we just let Kessler attempt a shot?

And did he promptly just foul their best player on the other end thereafter??

If you're going to play Kessler, may as well give Brandon Young some minutes, too. Hell, who won MVP for the intramural league? Give him some minutes.
