The first foul on Yante was literally one of the worst calls I've ever seen

I hope fox asked those officials how they think Maten got his lip busted.

8-2 turnovers (including some BS foul calls)
They shot more FTs and we only down 2 at half. Go Dawgs!!!

1.Fred Hoiberg

2.Kelvin Sampson

3.Chris Collins
67-53 @Northwestern, 18-5(7-3) this year. Assistant at Duke.
4.Will Wade
42-16 @VCU, NCAA Second Round 2016, assistant at Clemson, Harvard, VCU. HC at Chattanooga.
5.Jeff Capel

6.Kevin Keatts
64-26 @UNC-Wilmington, 1 NCAA Tournament Appearance. Assistant under Rick Pitino at Louisville.
7.Tommy Amaker

8.Matt McCall
44-12 @Chattanooga, 1 NCAA Appearance. Assistant under Billy Donovan at Florida.
9.Tim Floyd
125-78 @UTEP, 2 Sweet 16 Appearances. 434-245 career record. Iowa State and USC other stops.
10.Tubby Smith
17-7 @Memphis, 1 NCAA Championship. Why not?
I didnt put him on the list because he has said no to South Carolina and Alabama, but I would make the first phone call to Greg Marshall.

I think McCall should be a little higher on your list, but overall I like it.
I'm not confident how many of those guys would come to UGA, but why not at least try?

My first call would be Kevin Keatts. Think he would be the perfect hire. Don't see us hiring guys with baggage like Sampson. Not crazy about Capel, he struggled at OU outside of when he had Blake Griffin for two years. Honestly think our program is fairly appealing right now. Would excite the fans a bit, we only lose 1 contributing senior, SEC basketball is improving.

Yeah keatts and mccall would both be absolute home runs and we should reach out to them starting yesterday. Some bigger name guys on that list that we likely have zero shot at.
I just hope GM pulls his head out of his rectum and actually makes a move. What would be absolutely delightful is if he would go ahead and do it now since the season is already over (we might not even make the NIT, as if that even matters) and get a leg up. But knowing that dodo brain he'll probably wait until mid-March, then hire a search firm, and get back with us in June with some loser that nobody has ever heard of because they were willing to take the job for cheap.
