Was wondering if this was a reaction to A&M being open. Seems a little premature but can’t argue with how we played for most of the year.

I think it’s to guard against the dominoes A&M is going to knock over. If not them, the team they poach from would likely have Wes on their list as well. Just cut the crap, reward the guy for a phenomenal year, and lock down the portal class coming in

No other players, portal additions, or recruits take in the first 10 rounds. Should bode well for us retaining most everyone (though Dash maintains that Alford is unlikely to return)

With Alford and Branch officially back and it looking like w may not lose any commits to the draft, I hve no idea how the lineup shakes out other than Phelps, Branch, and Alford will be in it. We’ve got a lot of talent coming in both via the portal and HS, not to mention guys like Lukas Farris, Trey King, and John Marant who return with promise.
On the mound, seems like we can expect Finley, Harris, Kolten, and Alton Davis to be four starters with JT Quinn also a likely midweek guy if we decide to throw Davis as a true closer.
