And oh yeah, this happened today:
Charlie won the college baseball Heisman. Golden Spikes still TBA.
While we are changing Foley, I move that they go ahead and slap a 24 & 6 on the outfield wall

Definitely a huge offseason
Is there even going to be a limit of scholarships and number of players for any NCAA sport moving forward after all the lawsuits?!?

We’ve now added 14-15. But we also saw virtually the whole starting lineup plus most of last years freshman class leave. We have a lot of space.
ATM I think the only returning freshman are Tre, Trey King, Gold, and Wiltrakis
We could potentially lose Alford and Branch to the draft (apparently Jolby is an eligible sophomore) so we might be turning over the entire roster other than Tre

Non-Dawg but funny in hindsight how the college baseball media were throwing shade at UGA for not dropping bigger bags to hire Haire from Campbell last offseason only for him to end up at Ohio St which is for all intents and purposes a tier below UGA in the sport.
Also, went by Foley yesterday. Wild to see how much they’ve already done in clearing out the 3B line of trees and some of the initial concrete pours going in. Virtually the whole stadium is perimetered off including RF so I’m hoping this is indication that they will in fact be extending the awning to cover current seats (means more shade and just a better, more cohesive look)

Yeah Bazzana is likely going to go to Cleveland because of positional value as a middle infielder. Charlie is helped by not just being a tall 1B but corner outfield doesn’t trump a high value position like middle infield or center field. All considered, Cincy isn’t a bad spot for him with Elly and India in their lineup if he can rise quickly to join them.
