I’ll be honest, I can’t find a good statistical reason to give them an advantages over us. They can absolutely beat us but I’m a little perplexed by the seemingly conventional belief in the baseball media that this is NC States super to lose. I can’t help but wonder if that’s because we’ve already performed well beyond expectations so there is a natural inclination toward assuming we will run out of gas, but we are a pretty veteran team and lord knows we don’t quit. I think this is going to be a 3 game series that may well end on a walk off but it could fall either way.
Id also like to point out that our lineup that is predicated on the long ball survived a regional on 5 total HRs in 3 games while still putting up 27 runs against mostly offspeed pitching. If the ball starts jumping like it has all year…
Once again, the X factor is going to be our starting pitching. If Finley holds, Kolten is fine, and Harris reproduces his 6 innings against Tech we have a really good shot at going to Omaha.

Also, said pitcher has not had a substance check requested by any other coach since (nor was he asked to be checked by the A&M coach), let alone be actually caught with anything. And since then he has pitched some really solid innings for us as a closer.
A&M fans are insular weirdos and deserve the mockery they receive from virtually every fanbase

It is what it is but I think noon could actually benefit crowds on the weekend. If we hve a game 3, wouldn’t be surprised if we get a night slot

Not very perplexing in my eyes. It;s the media, it's ESPN...they are always hating on us. UNTIL, we win. And then it is a, "I told ya so" UGA has been tough all season, other than the Kentucky sweep. They have the best player in the nation, the most unknown pitching staff, and CWJ did a masterful job working the portal in his first year.
I'd rather come in to the super being the underDawg and shut the naysayers down. My prediction, UGA in 2.

UGA is the betting favorite to win Saturday at -150 to NC State +220
If we play like we have most of the season, I think we can pull this off. If we play like we did against Florida and LSU, we will lose.
Both teams have played a brutally tough schedule and are now in the Super Regional. Says a lot right there
