I remember saying to my friend, “Hey, where is Herschel? He was on the bench just a minute ago.”
Then I looked up and there was Herschel. Running over a Tennessee player and into the end zone.
I grabbed my Walkman and put the headphones on just in time to hear the announcer say “My Gosh, look at Herschel who is a freshman scoring touchdowns! Those are worth 6 points!”

I lived a block away from Piedmont Park and I listened to them play every day for months so I was surprised when they weren't there that day since I had just seen them there the day before.
Are you jealous of me because I got to see them perform up close before they made it big?
