I think there are a lot of plays like that - Stockton just doesn’t hit them. I think he’s the weak link on this years team - he will hold us back in the playoffs. Doubt we have an answer on the team but would like to see Puglisi again before end of the year - he would at least unlock the intermediate and deep passing game.

Maybe Kirby knew he could dominate, so he intentionally went ultra conservative to make sure they don't screw it up.

Interesting that we've seen that direct snap to the RB in short yardage a good bit today. I wonder if there is a play in that formation where the RB hands it to Gunner and he throws a quick pass to a TE leaking out?

All day it's been the default Kirby Jake Fromm offense where he doesn't think the other team can score enough. Every throw around the line of scrimmage or outside the hashmarks. It's basically the second half of the Oklahoma game offense. It's going to be even more frustrating in the second half. Gunner will be asked to complete a lot of one on one over the shoulder throws along the sideline. He's thtrown 3. One got tipped. The ones to Humphries and Reddell were on the money.
Hard to gripe when you don't complete those. But plenty of people will in the second half.
