When lower levels are in the $20 range, good sign people really don’t want these shite games.
Going like we always do but hopeful the entire system gives a shite about the fans again one day.
Go Dawgs.

From a fan's persepctive, I get what you are saying. From a player and/or coaches perspective they like these type games and need 2-3 of them a year.
A game like this does several things for a team.
1. It give their body a break from the beating. At Georgia it means even more as we hear how physical and demanding practices are.
2. It gives teams a chance to iron out rough spots. Coaches look at film from the previous week, and can work on problems they spot in individual players. It can be in mechanics, technique or perhaps a player doesn't fully understand his responsibility in a particular situation.
3. Helps recover from minor to medium injuries. Maybe a player can play if it were a big game, but he would not be 100%. The player might play against a Tennessee Tech, but the coaches can give him a break by playing him less, or perhaps they sit him to let his body heal.
4. It gives the coaches a chance to give younger players valuable experience. If they are second or third string they won't get as much experience, if any, against a Clemson, Alabama or Texas, but they will get much more playing time against Tennessee Tech.
5. It give coaches a chance to put in an experimental play. They can afford to try new strategies or plays against a Tennessee Tech when they build a lead, but they can't afford to try new things against Alabama, etc.
6. It helps to build confidence in younger players. Players who may not feel like they can compete immediately can gain confidence when they have success against lesser teams. All the layers can try a new technique or try to polish up something they have learned in practice.
These games can be boring to fans, but they are invaluable to the players and coaches. The lower ticket prices reflect that it is against lesser competition, and gives some fans a chance to see a potential championship team in a live game that might otherwise not be able to afford to go to a game, and maybe introduce the game to a kid. Nobody wants to bring a 7-8 year old kid to a huge game (Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss) and miss a chunk because the kid decides he has to go to the bathroom and can't hold it at a crucial point in the game.
Just some thoughts. You don't have to agree with them, but just pointing out things from a different perspective.

Yeah, OP's take doesn't really think things through. There is no pre season in college football and these kinds are helpful for many reasons.

Also good games to take young children to. Not as rowdy, guaranteed win, not expensive.

There's a lot of po' folks in GA...I don't mind the ticket prices a bit. And the tailgating is good no matter what.
Don't forget we're giving these good 'ol boys from Tennessee their shot to play Between the Hedges
