As I posted elsewhere Nu...
I'll keep my seats till I croak, even after I relocate to Fl. in a couple of years.
Will keep them for the kids as long as imma around but my son and grandson aren't going to be able afford/justify the cost when I'm gone.
They'll be priced outta the market and it's a damn shame. My Grandad, my Dad, myself and my son are all alumni and we've all raised our sons/daughters to know that Saturday's in the fall are spent in Athens...
Don't see the family tradition carrying on...

In short, "StatDawg82" is a double degree earner from UGA in statistics and decided to dig a little deeper... shocker of all shockers, the numbers that McGarity and the AA tried to use to bolster their argument that this increase wasn't that big of a deal and that UGA fans should essentially be happy it wasn't larger... were misleading at best.

I can't imagine there are many people who are *not* in this camp.
There is an element of being a modern day AD that will always require a bit of a pencil pusher... but maybe we can just get someone in there who isn't *ALSO* a POS.

Blutarsky should post McGarity’s response. What’s he afraid of, being sued? Journalistic integrity?
Excellent read, and kudo’s to the gal that did the field work to bring us those numbers and validate what we all suspected.
If McGarity said it was to fund planned improvements for the fans, people would have accepted it. Instead he straight up lied.

That's the dumbest part... just tell people why you want the extra money. Hell.. he literally could have said: We won the SECCG, played for a natty, and we have incredible recruiting classes... demand is such that we know these prices will be acceptable enough. Apologies for the inconvenience. - And people would have probably still accepted it... on the whole at least.

I'm not sure what the extent of trouble could be, but it's probably not worth it for him. I would really like to see it...
More importantly, I would have liked to have seen a reaction video of McGarity *reading* that email, and then responding.

Still a long way out Rules, prolly 2.5/3 years.
Haven't ruled any thing out but the Ft. Meyers area is looking pretty promising. Looking to be 30-45min from beach max.
First choice is a house but we're open to a condo/mobile home in a nice 55+ community if the amenities are nice and the HOA costs are reasonable.
Just starting to plan the move.

Not really,he kinda went with we didn't have all the data Angle
But his excuse for raising prices was complete garbage anyway.Our increased revenue of $9 million more than makes up for Mcgarity's number of $6 million in salary increases (which still doesn't add up unless the support staff is getting a HUGE increase )
