BS That dude got torched against LSU and looked disinterested to the point I questioned if he was shutting shite down for the draft. Even the Bucknuts boards are talking up how they are watching Ringo and Harrison is going to smoke him. Hell, LSU fans were saying how awful he looked and couldn't believe it. Against UT, Tillman averaged 10 yards per catch against Ringo. That int play was thrown right to him like he was the WR, bad under throw by Hooker.
He was not perfect in that game but we played a ton of zone and rushed 4 and kept it in front of us. Anyone who says he got torched respectfully doesn’t understand football

I agreed with one thing murf said and it's Ringo might be better as a safety in the NFL.

It’s almost like we were willing to give them short yardage completions in exchange for not giving up explosive plays. If only that game plan had worked…
Not sure the TN game is a good example to point out issues with any of our players in the secondary.

You made decent points until this. That was not an underthrow (Tillman didn't have to stop to get it). That was a big, fast, physical receiver running a go route against a faster and more physical corner. Ringo will not get beat on go routes. It was an incredible play and Ringo had it covered so well that he basically ran the route for Tillman.
Smarter people than me have said he would be a tremendous free safety because he doesn't have great change of direction but he has great size and speed. Watching games and seeing what he does well and what he doesn't necessarily do well reinforces this opinion, IMO.

This is his biggest strength, and probably why he starts. I've seen him get juked out of his shoes and give up some back shoulder throws, but I don't really remember him ever getting outright beat on deep routes.

Ringo has the same issue as lots of cornerbacks...failing to find the ball in coverage leads to pass interference, not intercepting or breaking up more passes. Not an easy position to play but the really good ones turn and look for the ball.
