Now that dust has somewhat settled in Knoxville, what changes?

-Bama must win SECcg to reach playoff . Period

-Tenn can lose to Georgia and still reach playoff no matter who wins SECcg

-Georgia can lose to Tennessee and reach playoff only if tenn beats Bama in SECcg . But not if Bama beats Tennessee

-I think that’s right

-just brainstorming

Bama has to beat Miss State, Ole Miss, and a wounded and dangerous Auburn team yet.

Gonna need some chaos in the other conferences to get two SEC teams I think.

Undefeated USC or 1 loss Oregon probably gets in. Ohio state Michigan winner gets in, undefeated Clemson gets in.

Who gets in if we beat Tennessee, then lose to Bama in SECC? All three finish at 12-1... Probably Bama.

I would sign up for beating uf, Kentucky, Tennessee, and losing to moo state right now.

All of my computations are showing Georgia vs Tennessee is for all the marbles for us

Tenn earned lifeline today

Here’s the pure chaos scenario:

-Tennessee beats Georgia
-Bama loses again in the regular season but beats Tennessee in the SECCG
-Big Ten champ has one loss
-TCU goes undefeated and wins Big XII
-Clemson goes undefeated and wins ACC
-USC or UCLA goes undefeated and wins the Pac-12

God only knows what the playoff field is then. This season is one of the murkiest playoff-wise I’ve ever seen this deep into it.

Oof

Would be hard to put a two loss Bama in the field, would depend on who they lost to I guess

In that scenario

USC
Clemson
Big ten winner
Tenn.

If Bama loses one of their remaining games like Peter Buck points out, this could actually be the year the sec devours itself and no sec team gets in

Would they cancel the 12 team playoff plans at that point ?

Heuipple being treated as the new Sirby Kmart trying to go to national championship game in his second year

I get how Kirby did it. But how is hieupple doing it?

Is Bama down or is heuipple real

Bamas secondary is bad, but Tennessee is for real. That offense with a QB that can hit deep passes consistently is a nightmare. Gotta hope Kirby and co is in the lab figuring out something.

Starks may be our saving grace. Ringo worries me though. As you like to say, tfear is strong.

Their defense is trash too. Which may be a product of their offense being so fast.

I'm torn on wanting to be pass happy vs trying to grind them down with run game. Run game working shortens game, let's defense rest and wears their defense down. But we will have to score touchdowns to stay with them. Idk, maybe heupel will go to Oklahoma when they fire Venables

Tennessee benefitting off their shitty past 15 years.

I think it’s magnifying their half a season success
