Ramsey is the only QB we've got on campus right now with the arm strength to do it.

Joe Cox threw a beautiful deep ball...I'm fairly sure all three of the guys at QB have more arm strength than the ginger ninja.

it sounds as if some of you are using these interviews to determine your favorite...Gurley was shite in front of the camera in most of these situations...means nothing...all that matters is what happens on the gridiron...

Assuming you can actually keep yourself on it - another area where Gurley was less-than-stellar.

Scrap the QB. Put an extra lineman out there and let Chubb go for 3000 yds

Not a bad idea UGA could do pretty well running the split-back veer offense this year.

I believe that Bauta is our best option.

I've thought this too, at times. A big arm isn't worth much if the accuracy isn't there...which still seems to be an issue with Ramsey and Lambert on long balls. So maybe Bauta's arm doesn't allow for a deep game but at least he's got the running dimension that the other two lack. Ability to truly run a read option might be handy.

On the other hand, if Bauta doesn't allow us to run the kind of pro offense Richt likes, including play action with real threat of hitting deep throws, we might as well switch to Tech's offense...

So lemme get this straight...we have 4 or maybe 5 excellent RB's and a couple of QB's that are pretty good at running the ball as well...

...well then obviously we change the schemes to suit the talent we have rather than trying to turn a running QB into a pocket, pro style passer and keep all but 1 RB on the sideline at all times right?

nothing wrong with continuing the pro style with what we have...we need the qb to hit just a few of those passes out of the pocket so we can do the play action...that is what our MO is under CMR...and always will be...don't need the guy to be Peyton Manning...just need him to be respected by the opposing D...any of the three should be able to do this...and then you let the horses run....
