The baby Drago thing is eerie.

If you recall, the real Drago was a full blown Russian commie caricature. And here we are a few decades later and Baby Drago went to the most commie epicenter possible without leaving this nation’s borders.Roll your eyes all you want, but deep down , you know I’m onto something here

And so the playoffs are basically set:

-Winner of Oregon Washington is in
-Winner of Dawgs Alabama is in
-Winner of Mich Oh state is in
-If Florida state wins out, they’re in.
-If Fl state falls, Texas’s big 12 championship becomes a half playoff game where they’re in if they win
-if somehow fl state and Texas both lose, then one of the losers from the first three bullet points above gets in.

Damn shame these same games next year won't matter at all.

And you won’t get the fun, hypothetical conversations about what could happen if “this” happens…it’s gonna be a bunch of bullshite about who deserves the 12th spot amongst the 2-3 loss teams. fricking sad

And so the playoffs are basically set:

What happens to your scenario if Auburn upsets Bama in the Iron Bowl at Voo-Doo-Jordan-Hare Stadium and Florida beats FSU without their QB….

Would Bama and FSU losing today, basically lock up a CFP spot for the Dawgs regardless of Atlanta?

Then you would have:
OSU/Mich
Wash/Oregon
Texas
Dawgs (they have wins over #9,12,21)

What about a hypothetical 1 loss ACC champion Louisville? They’ll be in the conversation unless they lose to UK today.

They are behind Missouri right now for a reason (only top 25 win is a bad #17 ND team) and a win against a depleted FSU team without their best player at QB won't help their case

Imagine Clemson being 7th in the ACC.

I hope KY mops stomps Louisville and Louisville stomps FSU. Entire conference is over rated.

And they keep propping Oregon and Washington up by ranking PAC teams…

USC, Oregon St, Arizona would all get waxed by any teams playing defense.

Arizona should be the only other ranked team and they lost to Mississippi State!

Hell, they had Washington St, UCLA and Colorado ranked at one point and they are three of the worst teams in that conference.

To be fair, ain't like the SEC were world beaters out of conference this year

But a conference championship will. FSU is still a top 6 team now. They have wins over FSU and ND with a conference championship at least gets them in the conversation.

Louisville lost to a 3 win Pitt. If they get in over any other 1 loss team, it would be pretty bad for football.

And Pitt kicked the shite out of them.

Definitely. I’m of the opinion though that if Georgia continues on the trajectory they’re on, looking like they did against Tennessee , then we are in no matter what.

I think Georgia will beat Alabama, but even if they did stumble and lose, there’s no legitimate scenario where a committee could pretend that Georgia isn’t one of the four best teams in the country.

I know they are only judging this season, but the record setting win streak and the two back to back titles have to count for something. The best player in the sport, Brock Bowers, and giving him more games to play before he moves on has to count for something. You can’t let Oregon in with a loss or Texas in with a loss and then kick the number one ranked team out for a loss to Alabama.
