I’m glad they were able to go through the motions in 2020 and we had something at least. But, what’s about to happen is the first real college football since early January of that the shitty year

That’s a long time

I think I’m going to buy some tomahawk ribeyes the size of boat paddles to celebrate

They have a bourbon equivalent of Baileys Irish Creme out of Frankfort KY that is not terrible and not terribly expensive.

Bourbon Cream from Buffalo Trace is a proven panty remover.

Think of all the strife that occurred almost immediately after they were laid to rest. Global pandemic, civil unrest, violence in the streets, mob rule and communist idiocy subverts and declares war on every remaining shred of decency in America, Newman quits and frickin Stet is starting QB half the damn season, etc

Coincidence?

You need to make sure to get your tour reserved. They usually have good bottles at the gift shop on Tuesday. You can only get one of the “premium” bottles every 3 months, but you can get the cream, some of the vodkas, and Buffalo Trace any time in addition. They have an active billion $$ expansion I have done some consulting on. Sazarac has put a lot of money into their facility and they are cranking out some liquor.

Guys, high quality coffee or cream drinks are best with a shot of the whiskey and a shot of high quality cream. shite thats sit in a bottle for months is awful.

Like shot of Jameson, shot of Cream and coffee

Shot of Eagle Rare, shot of cream and coffee.

I've been seeing the Yellowstone Bourbon commercial a lot lately, so I think I'm going to go with that.

It shows people enjoying the bourbon around campfires which lets l=me know that it is smooth, rich and flavorful and conducive to promoting good fellowship. Also, their admiration for the national park system releives my concerns about whether or not it is responsibly sourced

I feel like you might be an expert. What is a good bottle to buy in the $100 range?

I don't like sweet anything. I drink coffee black and I like dry red wines, if that helps

No need to spend $100. Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig, and 4 Roses Small batch are all cheap and plenty good.

So we’re actually going for my buddy’s bachelor party and his brother got us set up. We’re having a private lunch in the Elmer T. Lee Clubhouse, followed by a private tour and enhanced tasting. Should be a fun day. Cigar roller at the estate that evening, and I call it an estate bc his brother couldn’t just get a normal house for us. It’s way too classy for the bunch of degenerates we’ve got staying there.

Elmer is the goat to me. My overall number one including the Pappys.

I think the bourbon thing is crazy stuff i paid $35 a bottle for in 2010 is now $300 if you can find it. Been enjoying Scotch and Irish Whisk(e)y of late.
