My solution: Replace Bobo with an OC who has an innovative offense and can attract 5 star receivers like with see Alabama reeling in.

Jesus

Beck threw for almost 4,000 years last year compared to 2800 for Milroe and had almost 120 more attempts.

This is the kind of analysis that I hope our coaches are working through with our receivers.
Some of this does look like it's on Lovett and he and Beck have been around long enough that they should be not just be singing of the same sheet of music but but should be lock step with every note.
I will say this regarding that first play: the analyst perceives Lovett as loafing and it does look that way but it also could be a ploy for the defender that Lovett is not the intended target.
Regardless, a QB can't always be throwing to a spot because routes can easily get disrupted. Beck has a strong arm and on a little 20 yard pass like that he should be zipping it right into the receivers body, not throwing to a spot.

I think he's unfair to the first play. That defender was in his fricking face and he simply reacted, right into another defender. No loafing involved. He can't take off at the snap on a screen play or it's a penalty for illegal downfield blocking on a forward pass. Dom has to hold up behind the line of scrimmage or it's a penalty, whether the pass is completed or not.

Lovett was settling in the zone and was wide fricking open. The defender slid into in the passing lane at the LOS. shite happens. 95% of the time it fits in the space… 4.99% of the time it gets batted down. .001% it goes flying in the air off the D lineman’s helmet. Its football.
