How long has he been there?

I'm waiting for them to get to my place down south. I would love to be able to kill one down there.

Just started seeing bear around here in the last 3-4 yrs Spunk. Let em leave some seed before we start putting them in the bed of the truck.

This bear was on a creek that feeds the Oconee . I've got 2 pics this yr and a couple from last. They travel pretty good distances from what I've learned.

Oh for sure. South ga has perfect habitat to grow really big bears though, will all of the crops and food. Where I hunted mine at last year in eastern NC looked no different than south ga. Crops swamps and pine thickets. They have monsters up there.

The middle Ga bear hunt is limited to a handful of counties along the Ocmulgee River. The closest to me is Twiggs

That They do, especially The young boars that are just leaving mom. We get a few passing by up here every now and again. Nothing consistent though. Did have one frick up some bee box's at our place up here 3 years ago. Never came back.

Gotcha. I pulled all my cams in may when turkey season was over and haven't put any back up yet. Will do it in next week or two.

I did get my 10 pt back from taxidermist on Thursday. Haven't had a chance to get him hung yet though. Gotta move some around first. I'll post pix when I get him hung.

That bear is no joke. Don't want to run up on him without a gun in hand.

Got a pack of 10-12 coyotes roaming the back pasture. Gonna cut hay in a couple of weeks and then set up a wounded rabbit call and kill a few.

We had a really bad issue with them about 7 years ago at our cow pastures up here. Calling em is by far the most fun way to kill em. Those bitches come running. Trapping is the most effective way though. Between calling, killing while deer hunting and trapping we killed over 60 in 4 years. Still see the occasional one but nothing like it used to be.

We had bad issue on family farm in Dublin with them!!! They got out of hand and hemeragic disease came around same year. The herd hasn't made it back yet and I don't think will the combination of the two destroyed the herd!!!!
