I would argue that this could be the preferred approach (Sony Michel, Keith Marshall, Kendall Milton. All were considered multi-tool 3 down backs out of high school) whether it is successful or not. That is how we used to recruit in the past.
Oklahoma will be a good test for our offense. I am glad that this game is at home.
I feel like they wanted 20 to be that guy with his speed, but assume he isn’t where he needs to be on some aspect. Bowens did a nice job this week, but he is gonna get more than just 3rd down reps.

Bowens is smoother this season catching passes out of the backfield this season and smoother and more explosive in general. I think he's the real deal and predict that he'll be one of the first 3 or 4 running backs selected in the next draft.

I think he is healthy and has another year of experience which helps with a lot of the finer points of the game. He is clearly a stud athlete.

The Film Guy said yesterday that Frazier looks like a completely different back this season and he's moving up draft boards. The choppy steps and not seeing the holes are over, and he's finally playing like who the coaches thought they were signing.

No one would have predicted that Cook was going to be a top NFL back after his first year. He developed a good bit. Speaks well of our program.

I had a ban bet with someone that James Cook was going to be drafted and on a roster in the Fall.
There is some weird UGA fandom where people plant some stupid opinion in the ground and do not back off of it.
I don't watch the nfl, but I knew he was going to be a contributor. Enough so to do a ban bet with a stranger.
