Where DG had a bunch of passes knocked down in a slug fest.

Bama was always developmentally ahead of us, especially on offense.

See how much we improve and if alabama shits the bed at some point as well. An injury to Jones and their season is screwed.

My biggest gripe is our dipshit coaches could not predict that passes where going to get knocked down by the dl. Move the qb outside the pocket.

Said that during the game. Much harder to bat a ball down when you’re on the run instead of just dug in while the QB stands in the pocket. What blows my mind is Stet had a lot of open room to just keep it and run himself that he elected not to.

Yep, Bennett could have had 100 rushing yards if he had taken what was in front of him instead of throwing 3 INT's.

Which is what surprised me so much about last night. They’ve said he’s the poor man’s Baker Mayfield, and his escapability is something he’s pretty darn good at especially with how fast he is...he didn’t even really try to display that last night.

Afraid there is no viable qb2 and they didn't want him knocked out.

I'm looking forward to film studies. But I dont remember a ton of running lanes on his sacks. They often weren't 1 guy breaking free (unless it was his blindside). Defenders were at all angles (including up the middle which gives a QB only 1 option to escape and that is to give up yardage).

Did you see how bad he threw the ball on the run? Come on man!

Yes, that was a terrible decision, one someone starting their first road game vs a dynasty level team....

Jake Fromm in 2018 or 2019 perhaps?

We need to stop talking about Stet, if we're a program worth its salt there's no way that kid is seeing the field again. The Stetson experiment is over.

I honestly think we are screwed without him. Kirby is not playing him on a whim...

I think he is going to give us a better season the Jake Fromm did in 2019.

So I agree. We definitely should be appreciative of Bennett.

I dont think he gets an automatic pass through the rest of the year, though. Fromm probably wouldn't have been better in the 2019 offense than fields (with limited weapons and a struggling running game, we needed a QB who could create more than just manage).

If Bennett, Mathis, or Beck can move the ball with Monken too then I say go with the younger more talented hand.

One hard hit and Mathis would have been on the field. Watch his performance in the Arky game and tell us you want him in the game.
