Is it safe to say that last night was the best performance of Stetson’s entire career? What do the stats say?
And if it’s true, how f’ing crazy is that he went out that way?

Tied UGA record for 6 Tds in a game. All time record.

Oregon game is in the mix. Oregon & TCU are pretty nice bookends for a season.

Great point Fin, We were the popular upset pick in both games and smoked the ducks and frogs 114-10.
Sounds like a good Bbq.

I'm more partial to the Peach Bowl. Against TCU, everything was working - I'm not sure how much Stetson had to flex. That scramble on 3rd and 10 against the blitz was absolutely magical, though.

I dont know how many times you can compare it to a hollywood story, but it is beyond spooky to look back on everything now that Stet’s masterpiece is complete.
I keep thinking back on one moment from 2020 that I will never forget that helps put things in perspective for me. I had to do some work on the opening Saturday when we played at Arkansas and we agreed not to check scores until we were done. So when that happened this fellow pulled out his phone and I was waiting for him to find the score. And i remember sitting there patiently waiting to hear how big we were up, but then watching his face wrinkle up and contort and then he exhales and said, “Well. Its almost halftime. Were losing by such and such to Arkansas. And Stetson fricking bennett is our fricking quarterback for some reason.” I mean, i dont know how to articulate the amount of shock and disgust that he had in his voice when he said this.
That was not even two and a half years ago. And here we are. What a ride

It's crazy. I've never seen a player play with such a chip on his shoulder. He used all the negativity in the press and social media to fuel his desire to get better. He came back this season and mastered Monken's offense. He's still not the most talented UGA QB by any stretch but he used the playbook and all the weapons he had to win another championship. I'm kind of like Stetson was last night - at a loss for words. He's a real confident guy but last night after the game you could tell he was pretty overwhelmed at the magnitude of what he had accomplished. The only QB I can think of that led their team to back to back NC's is Frazier at Nebraska.
