Well, looks like those NFL DBs had his number. Hurts when you don’t have NFL caliber arm. I think we all knew that he wasn’t the greatest passer.

Doesn’t take away from what he did at UGA. Just wasn’t going to translate to the NFL

And, I'm not claiming to be some all knowing guy, but watching college and pro football my entire life, it seemed pretty clear.

Yes, he never had NFL arm strength. We all knew that. Are you saying you believe he did?

I’m not saying he does or does not have NFL arm strength. I think he tied Will Levis at the combine on velocity at around 57 mph or that neighborhood.

My guess is that it’s more to do with rust (in the immediate sense of this outing) and the possibility that he may not have the high end processing ability like a Drew Brees to make up for not having Mahomes-like measurables and athleticism in terms of long-term predictors of success.

55 mph is considered nfl armstrength, he ans Levi's tied at 57mph. He has nfl armstrength,

Not bad for a guy who spent is rookie season in rehab to better himself, just now getting back into the swing of things.

ChatGPT

Stetson Bennett is a notable figure in college football, particularly for his time as the quarterback for the University of Georgia (UGA) Bulldogs. His significance stems from several key achievements:

National Championships: Bennett led the Georgia Bulldogs to back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships in 2021 and 2022. This was especially significant for UGA, as their 2021 title was their first national championship since 1980.

Underdog Story: Bennett's journey to becoming a star quarterback is a classic underdog tale. He began his college career as a walk-on at Georgia, later transferred to a junior college, and then returned to Georgia on scholarship. Despite being overlooked in favor of higher-profile recruits, he eventually earned the starting quarterback position and became a key player in the team's success.

Leadership and Performance: Bennett was known for his leadership on and off the field. His ability to perform under pressure in critical games, including multiple high-stakes playoff and championship games, solidified his legacy at UGA.

NFL Prospect: Bennett's college success led to his selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, where he was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams. His story and achievements made him a popular figure among fans and an inspiration for many aspiring athletes.

Stetson Bennett’s legacy is defined by his perseverance, leadership, and the pivotal role he played in restoring Georgia's status as a powerhouse in college football
