The funny thing is that no one who has ever actually accomplished anything in life through hard work or perseverance could ever react to 1 loss the way some are reacting. If they had, they’d know it doesn’t come without struggle, failure, and getting your arse kicked at times. I read ever one of these type of OP posts and it screams loser.

The reaction woulnd't be nearly what it is had this happened against clemson, or hell even UF or AU. Even then you'd get upset for a day, focus on the rest of the season, and hopeully winning the SEC and making the playoffs.

The problem is, that we have looked phenomenal all season against every team althgouh we had one area that may be a sliiiiight concern but not raelly an issue throughout the year. So we play the only other taem in america that is even close to being on our level and we look like we forgot how to play football. That one area that may have been a concern did the same thing he did against these guys last season, which was not good. And out elite unit that dominated everyone all year looked like they'd never seen a fotoball before. It was just befuddling at all levels. And the reason people are so pissed is because if we want to win it all, which looked lke a very real thing if not even LIKELY a few weeks ago, we have to beat that team that just whooped us. Nobody is crying JUST beacuse we lost a game, that happens all the time. People are crying because it feels hopeless that our staff has what it takes to beat alabama.

Bingo. L&H thinks he's clever with his critique that all of those aforementined QB's supposedly suck...except for Bennett. But if true, this would indicate that Kirby Smart is a truly atrocious judge of QB talent and potential! Lol

Maybe he is a bad judge of QB talent. Ihat means Saban is, too, then.

Taulia Tagavailoa transferred out and isn't doing all that great. Blake Barnett transferred out and never did much. Alabama running back corps is running on fumes because of injuries....and their star receiver came out of the portal. Why did Nick Saban have to reach into the portal for a receiver. Their BEST receiver?

Is he an atrocious judge of talent at WR and QB?

Well I agree on that point: Secretly, if Kirby doesn't hate the fact that he's relying on an undersized, mediocre QB with virtually no interest from the NFL,

You have some weird facination with having only a QB that the NFL wants. Tell me something. What do the following people have in common?

Case Keenum
Timmy Chang
Landry Jones
Graham Harrell
Luke Falk
Rakeem Cato

They are all in the top 10 in passing yards for college football all time. I have heard of one or two of them, but other than Case Keenum, I'm not sure if any of them played in the NFL. (MAYBE Graham Harrell?)

Being NFL ready is not the only mark of being a good QB on the collegiate level.

Does your question have anything to do with what I said?

Despite all the rationalizations and attempts to portray Bennett as a great QB, it's pretty simple: If Kirby Smart wouldn't rather have a Bryce Young or Desmond Ridder or Sam Howell, he would have to be a moron.

Bennett could throw 5 INTs in the next game and there are a few folks on this board who would still blame the receivers, talk about his small town south Georgia upbringing, his love of UGA, and whatever else...but the fact will stay the same: We can and should do much better at the marqee position on the team in a top five program.

Who has portrayed him as a great QB? You seem to think that a QB has to be NFL worthy to be good, though.

He doesn't have one of those. So......?

Sometimes all of those can be factors. It would seem as if all of those could be the reasons but you would still blame Bennett. It works both ways.
