I would assume we'd be in since we beat the team that beat Bama.

Oh no, I was asking would they put LSU in over Bama. I agree that we’d be in, so long as we don’t lose another one before that game.

Depends on how big the loss is by. If we win out we're in regardless.

I think the reason Oregon and Utah are ranked where they are is to give the Playoff Committee the chance to plug the winner of the PAC12 in over a second SEC team.
The B10 and SEC winners are in. Clemson is in if they go 13-0. If Clemson falters the B12 winner (13-0 Baylor or 12-1 Oklahoma> is in.
The only other option is PAC12 winner or SEC runner-up.

Why would you WANT two SEC teams in? Good grief, if we win out, I’m totally fine with Oregon being in. Or Baylor/OU. Getting another SEC team in does nothing for us. And bottom line, neither Bama nor LSU gets the nod if they lose the SECCG. Unless Oregon/OU/Baylor/Utah collapse, it’s going to be the SEC, B10 and ACC conference champs and the conference champs only. The 4th team will be one of those Pac12/B12 teams.

I agree - I think Tua will be limping if they get to the SECCG. He's got to go against LSU and Auburn. I wonder a bit if he is thinking more about the NFL at this point but he hasn't shown anything to that effect. Also think the committee doesn't pick the SECCG loser in any scenario. I think a lot of people were miffed when Bama got in without going to the SECCG and the committee would like to pick a conference champion. It would seem like whatever SEC team we mention gets hot at the end would have an advantage after playing in a few games with high level competition.

Only teams ranked above us that scare me are Ohio state and LSU.
Bama has looked beatable all year.
Penn state... pfffft
Clemson hasnt looked ridiculously good. Trevor ain’t as scary as he was last year.

And let me add to this:
Our defense might smother the shite out of Justin fields and or burrow. They haven’t gotten the credit they deserve this year. They are the real damn deal.
