It really comes off like have some serious bitter envy of Savannah and its surrounding areas. Idk if this is true but it’s how your posting comes off. You’re getting emotional and accusing the rest of us as not even having been born in GA.
Did you even attend UGA? Just a question

It is truly awful. Even with 516 able to siphon off certain traffic it’s a hell hole heading the direction of Savannah at any point Monday- Friday from like 645 to 845-9
Fortunately I don't travel that shite. To Gulfstream is bad enough.

To me it seems you're having your identity as a South Georgian challenged and you don't know how to respond so you're projecting your insecurities on to me.
Last time I went to Savannah was in high school on a field trip that highlighted middle Georgia cities.
I was blessed to graduate from UGA. class of 2014.

“Challenged”
By you and no one else while we all dump on you for it. Congrats you went to Savannah once on a high school field trip. You surely have a well informed grasp on that city as well as its many surrounding suburbs and counties like RH, Pooler, Rincon, and more we all discussed which I’m sure you have also visited and know anything about.
It’s just hilarious to me your entire knowledge base is a trip to Savannah you took in high school and we are all meant to take you seriously here.

In your anger you missed the whole point of the field trip line.

No, I didn’t. “Middle Georgia cities”
Guy from “South Georgia” who is emotional we all think Savannah is in south GA goes on high school field trip under the impressions of people who clearly also believe Savannah is “middle Georgia” in some way which makes no fricking sense geography wise. I’m starting to see where you got this position of yours

A little too emotional.

The whole field trip line was a joke...Christ...who goes on a field trip to tour middle Georgia?
Posted on 11/21/25 at 12:27 pm to Spaceman Spiff
It’s not even so much he disagrees. It’s his entire journey from just stating it as obvious facts, to moving onto insults, to “muh high school field trip told me so!” that makes him come off as a bit too invested while knowing next to nothing

Bingo. There was another poster here that we haven't seen in a while that did that shite

Sorry the joke went over your head. Maybe you and spiff can meet at the middle Georgia inn outside of Savannah and console each other*.
* - i'm not if sure the middle Georgia inn is real. This is another joke making fun of the fact that you thought you were from South Georgia but have been proven wrong.

You have proven nothing other than you’re a woman.
Can you name 3 things about these places you’ve surely visited that are “middle ga” culture as you would put it? Should be a monumentally easy task for someone with your knowledge base

Ad hominem... Classic triggered response by simple minded middle Georgians that don't have a rebuttal to the topic at hand.
I'm from South Georgia boy. I don't need a monthly trip to Savannah to know it's not South Georgia
For the record, as stated in my original response, I would classify savannah and surrounding suburbs as coastal or low country...not middle Georgia. The middle Georgia was employed to successfully trigger you.
Sherman did not march through South Georgia

So you can’t as we all knew you couldn’t because you have never been to any of these places you’re an expert about. Got it.

I have no desire to visit middle Georgia.
I roll my windows up when I go through Savannah's sister city, Dublin, on my way to God's Country.
If you would like to talk about South Georgia, I'm ready when you are.
