Very cool. Love Jalon and Dom being leaders.

I didn’t realize how close Texas came to blocking Wood’s last FG before the half. That fricker came of the edge like a heat seeking missile.

Woodring kinda stood over his butt too.

Not so sure he didn’t just misshit the ball on the “squib” too.

No mention of Bottlegate at all

Just a “huddle” and the refs overturn the call

Clear targeting on Arian on the deep over route following their 2nd TD…

Yeah that one was the worst one, worse than Dans and Agueros.

He launched and he was staring at the grass

Also, don’t know if anyone saw Kirby’s son standing off to the side during his pregame speech… wide eyed… absorbing his father’s legacy. It gave me chills.

One thing I did notice in this SEC Inside was a new angle on the interception and overturned DPI. If you look closely, the DB clearly held Arian’s jersey near the right shoulder as he started to turn from his break, disrupting the timing of the route. Even Georgia fans are out there believing it should have not been DPI, but it was DPI and was called correctly on the field.

With all the missed/poor calls in this game and really all year feels a bit like the refs have had it out for us all year.

Who's the really hot ebony babe who was standing beside Sarkisian half the game? Aside from Jalon Walker, she was the breakout star.

Kirby gave his son a celebratory noogie after the game, which seems about right.

I think Arian kinda baited a PI there, almost like the DB was standing on his spot where he was supposed to start the comeback so he just bodied him up.

Then the guy did and did hold him from being able to turn around and make a play on the ball. Keep in mind that he’s facing Beck so he’s seeing the ball.

I wouldn’t want it called if it’s against Georgia. But that ref saw something. And we know how the rest of it played out

I agree that it was pass interference but clearly Beck and Smith weren't on the same page.
Based on where Beck threw the ball, it looked like a basic down and out pattern but Smith didn't make his cut to the sideline.
The collision with the defender definitely disrupted the route but Smith didn't look like he was even attempting the out part of the route.

If the pass was come-back route, then Beck made a bad pass but Smith didn't come back for the ball so either way it looked like Smith did not move as expected.

Having said all that, after Beck had 5 turnovers in the Bama game, I would think that he would be more careful with his pass selection.
From my perspective, Smith was clearly not open (no separation with his defender) so the pass should never have been thrown.
But in Beck's defense, our receivers aren't typically getting open so I think he finds himself having squeeze the ball into tight windows.

Translation: hopefully we can recruit more talented receivers for next season.

He’ll need a job as a coach or in the military….because that kid is going to have lots of HR issues if he tries to fill his daddy’s shoes in the corporate world.

My guess would be Beck went with the come back or back shoulder because he saw the defender had leverage on Arian. Arian had other plans or was late.

That really was an easy pick as the defender was the only one in position to see the ball and make the catch.
