Vandy looked competent on offense. A couple of good WRs and that little kick returner/slot receiver was really fast. Their QB throws a good pass but their OL is a little weak. DL can't stop a good run game and their DB corps will give up a lot of yards and TDs.
They will improve over the season so I expect them to surprise a couple of teams this year. I think a 7-win season is possible for them.

Hawaii is terrible and nearly came back. Vandy is Vandy until proven otherwise.

Vandy executed the PA slant pretty well and had Hawaiis LBs off balance. Vandy has some good players, but not in all spots for a SEC team. They have enough talent to beat some SEC teams on an off day.

Last year's Vandy team that got off to a 4-0 start was more cause for alarm than this year's band of miscreants.

Vanderbilt has beaten UGA more recently than Tennessee has.

I never take them lightly.

Vandy will learn from this game and be better next week. They won't be a threat to us, but USCe and Mizzou will have to work to beat them.
