I am an old time SEC football fan. I actually like to see other SEC teams do well in OOC games. If they win it makes us all look better.
I have never begrudged other SEC teams doing well. I just always wondered why Georgia could not do that too.
Perhaps the younger generation does not view things that way. The younger generation has never lived during the time the SEC was treated like a wayward step child by the national media.

I told them that it would be a scary time for them once 1980 died. Not an ounce of originality is found on that board, so they all have to wait for someone funnier than them to find the 1 joke they can use against us.

Most Vols said that the hit on Harrison was legal. Most said that Kirby's time out was brilliant. I can't remember reading a comment claiming Bowers didn't get the first down.
It's always funny, though, reading how much Stetson Bennett is disliked by other fan bases. Stetson pours Morton's like the stuff comes in gallons.

Us winning multiple championships, Alabama at early 2000s level, Florida has another coach, UGA and LSU will be our main competition but will always come up short against us.
