Can't blame him. He was injured a good bit the first half of the season, wasn't he?

Our O line was very good this year even with extreme injury. I just assume we are going to have an above average O line most years every year as long as Kirby is here. Maybe that’s stupid to assume though. I wish freeling well but I’ll be surprised if he is picked in the first 3 rounds.

I'm hoping the Phil Rauscher feller sticks around. Our offensive line was way more competent this year despite being way younger.
Jacksonville Jaguars
On February 17, 2022, Rauscher was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their offensive line coach under head coach Doug Pederson.[10] Rauscher also became the team's run game coordinator starting in the 2024 season. [11]
Rauscher was released under new coach Coen February 2025.
Georgia Bulldogs
On March 25, 2025, Rauscher was hired by the Georgia Bulldogs as offensive assistant.[12]

He and analyst (former UGA TE coach) John Lily were the difference this season.

Must not have watched him lose the game against ND last year or blow arse most of this season.

I doubt they paid much attention; they’re only out a few tens of millions if they got it wrong.

You mean the game he played with a torn labrum and literally got shoulder surgery at 8am the next day? But he played anyways because he knew him with one arm was still better than the alternative? That game? Yea I think they’ll either overlook it or view it as a positive character moment.

I'm not gonna criticize Freeling for leaving; it's a rational decision. I don't think he'll make the 1st round, but he'll very likely make more than he would've at Georgia. If he can stay healthy and continue to develop, the 2nd contract will be what matters. Worked hard, played hard, tended his business and stayed out of the AJC fish wrapper. DGD, IMO.

Mid second round is a 3 million dollar signing bonus and 5 or 6 million gauranteed. I would not need much coaxing.
