Any chance the game gets delayed/rescheduled? Not just rain now, forecast shows thunderstorms from 2PM through the rest of the afternoon/evening. Doesn’t look promising.

Weather will have very little impact on the game. Zero chance it is rescheduled

Unless it is lightening for an extended period of time. What's the rule? Play can resume like 30 minutes after the last strike within a certain radius?

GHSA rule is 30 minute delay when lightning is seen or strikes within 10 miles of my location (I'm a GHSA official). If there is a strike under the same parameters any time within that 30 minutes, the clock resets to 30 minutes.
I would guess the NCAA/SEC rule is similar if not exact.

That’s what was concerning to me- seeing the projections change from just a deluge of rain to thunderstorms and how every lightning strike in the area could cause a delay

So far North Alabama has only had a light mist since last night with less than 1/4" or rain measured. Local predictions are maybe 2 to 3" for the entire weekend.

I worry about bad weather games more than I should. Go Dawgs.
