Also where is the social media post thanking UGA, coaching staff, teammates, etc?
He doesn't like us why should we like him

I’m not going to judge the kid. Having a significant season ending injury for somebody that’s spent years at football is a mind frick and not wanting to be around everyone else preparing for a CFP game you should be playing in is understandable.

How do you know he doesn't........team didn't seem to care and he didn't bother to be with the team, showed up late for the Sugar Bowl and stood by himself the entire time.
Not to mention his player noted that Gunner was their QB.....
Did you ever see that guy try to avoid a sack, he constantly tripped over his own feet.
You are the one making assumptions, not me

Well, these are facts not assumptions.

No you are.... If he had leadership and the team behind him, he would not leave. Would have returned to the team between doctors visit over the break, would have show up on time to The Sugar Bowl and would have attended meetings
If was actually good, he would be on his way to the NFL, which some around the NFL called Foolish. He is a clumsy guy who can't relate to those around him.
These are all verifiable facts, so go argue with a fence post elsewhere.

That means he had zero leadership?

So, when he goes to a playoff contender and get over $5M in NIL will you tell them you know more than they do? Let’s see how it plays out

had already been miffed with Beck being away from the team during much of College Football Playoff preparation for the Sugar Bowl as Beck sought opinions from doctors in California and Texas.
Anybody that is "miffed" at him for seeking medical treatment for an injury instead of standing on the sideline at practice is an idiot.

Yet plenty of players have been capable of doing both.
Pretty standard procedure and our doctors are elite anyway.

Their fans will turn on him quicker than ours when he drops 3-4 Ints in a game and gets hacked over and over again as no one has a line good enough to keep him upright.

It means those things are facts.
Which also means he is always likely not a good leader for this team, which is the assumption.

Dude, you are grasping. Beck isn’t perfect, but he did not earn the vileness he has been treated with by our fans. Y’all just need to let it go. He is going to go to a playoff contender school and make a lot of money and it won’t be because he sucks….
Posted on 1/10/25 at 9:20 am to Peter Buck
Not grasping at all, thousands in our fan base and many in the national media agree.
Beck is literally the anti-Stetson....
Truth is, dude is a Coach Killer....... There will be an idiot school take him just like the NFL pays big money for awful QBs as well.

Not telling anyone and genuinely going out of your way to literally keep them out of the loop would generally give someone a freaking reason to to be “miffed” no?
As what someone else said you can do both

Agreed. From what I can tell is he thrives in a positive reinforcement environment and sucks in a negative reinforcement environment.
Meaning, if he is your QB, you are going to have to pump sunshine or he will shutdown

He never badmouthed our school or did anything awful off the field. He got caught up in some of the unfortunate side affects of kids his age and NIL and social media, that were not my cup of tea, but nothing terrible.
What I don’t understand is why our fans feel it is ok to treat players who don’t live up to their expectations with such vileness. It’s very odd.
