Outside of schedule strength, is it preferable for UGA for Tech to be good in the Big 3 sports?

As an old fart who can remember the football series being a lot more even, I think it would be preferable for Tech to be horrible and drop a division and for us to play only regularly.

UGA benefits a lot from being the only program in the State that matters. Tech gets a ton more respect nationally than they do in state and I like it that way.

absolutley not.

Let's just start here. The first question taht needs be asked for any kind of hypothetical like this is "does this help UGA?" I mean that's not too far fetched right? In any given scenario, I first want to know if this helps us or not.

There is no fathomable reason that tech doing well is helpful for UGA. Tech winning more ballgames, getting more media coverage, getting renewed interest/money from donors, and getting longer looks from higher profile recruits...every single one of those things is a negative for UGA. So no, tech being good in any sport is not helpful for UGA.
