Recapping my experience yesterday...

First of all... great to meet the posters that I did in person. Spank & WG 
While the game obviously didn't end the way we all wanted, I'm still sure as hell glad I was there for the experience and I've got one person to thank for that. Americus Dawg... you da real MVP. I was 90% sure that we weren't going to find a ticket for me that I'd be willing to pay for but your better judgement prevailed and I took "the walk" to see what we could make happen.
Without going into too much detail here, suffice it to say, AD helped me find a great opportunity to get in the game with a field level access pass for what ended up totaling $500... it was just, shall we say, a "non-standard" business transaction that may have been deemed "shady" by a neutral observer...
Was down at the tunnel for when the Dawgs entered. Spent nearly the whole game in the student section next to the Band and Big Dawg Jr. Briefly spent some time a couple of sections over where I got to high five Jake Fromm's mom after the Hardman touchdown right before half... Super nice lady. Met more than a few players.
Second half just felt like death by a thousand paper cuts... the crowd never let down, even as the proverbial "tide" seemed to be changing... The Hardman receiving TD juiced it up quite a bit... the missed FG by Bama at the end of regulation was insane... I've never hugged so many strangers.
Bummed that we turtled up so heavily in the second half. Bummed that the officiating was as one sided as it was. Bummed that we had such a critical breakdown on the last play. But ultimately proud as hell of our Dawgs and what they accomplished this season.

I'll share the story offline sometime if anyone actually cares (don't want to get anyone in trouble and I'd like to try and make it happen again in the future for a big event if possible). Suffice it to say, no touching of penises, or any genitalia for that matter, was required.

You might think so... but no. Purely cash transaction. The only funny business was on the side of the entrepreneurs that we had the pleasure of meeting.

It was fun man. Sorry about the suplex after the TD. Was a little excited at the time. Still wishing I'd of knocked that security guard outside out at halftime

Glad you didn't... would have preferred to not have to come bail you out of secret security jail... however that works.
