I used to just show up all the time. Get tickets on the bridge right at kickoff and if I struck out I’d go down town to the bars to watch it.
Long before I had a family though. Definitely will have to find them before leaving the house.

Definitely used to be more common but the hassle of parking and getting here now did away with all that.

What was really great back in the day is that the dentist my mom has always worked for is an ole miss alum. Ole miss used to suck so bad he would always give me his tickets. Doesn’t happen any more.

I had all my meals there, on the meal plan, breakfast lunch and dinner, for a year, while I was incarcerated in Russel Hall. I forgot my student ID one day and had to pay for my turkey sandwich with cash and it was $8. In 1996.

An $8 turkey sandwich in 1996 would be like a $25 turkey sandwich today.

So, I don't feel the "value" signal of eating there. Has Bolton lowered their prices?

If you have time to kill, and lsuhobnail is inviting you to his tailgate with shrimp and whatnot, what excuse do you have? You pride yourself on meeting up with board members at games. Keep that going.

Bolton is for the birds.

Looks like 50 degrees and pissy rain all day.

Old Baw in hotel room above must have drank a gallon of sweet tea before bed. He pissed a good 2 minute rope this morning.

Started staying two nights in Athens for home games. Has really been fun.

That’s a long walk in the rain

Yes the value has massively increased. Like I said last year it was like $13 and you can eat unlimited amounts of all the food from all the cuisine you could possibly ask for. So yes it beats $8 for a turkey sandwich.

As for your other question, I park at the stadium so it doesn't make sense in this weather to do that then walk a mile and a half South then walk 2 miles north and then walk back down to the stadium again.

We are doing our shrimp boil but it’s going to be lightly attend
Most people have bailed out and I may only stay long enough to cook… and cutting the output in half
I have a dry couch 15 minutes from our tailgate spot that is more appealing than 50 and steady rain

Super late start…otw to Athens right now. What’s the energy level? Has the rain kept people in or?

Now I’m seeing rain in the fourth quarter of this game. Might not be showing anything on the radar but there’s still a heavy mist in the air. That ball will be wet tonight.
