I had no clue this was a thing, until it just popped up on my Netflix a couple days ago.

The first season was last year and it followed Fromm(and two other QBs) during their senior seasons in high school.

Im at episode three, but you can just see the leadership from Fromm oozing out of him. I loved seeing him and Malik Herring talking shite to each other before and during the first game.

Its a pretty awesome watch if anyone hasnt seen it. The Tate Martell stuff is pretty good as well. I actually like his cocky attitude. The kid from Pennsylvania is kind of bland.

It always seemed like the that kid was somehow playing JV. Anytime they flipped between Houston/Bishop Gorman and the Penn school it was like night and day. When it was on Youtube I would always skip the Pennsylvania parts, but Tate was worth the watch.

The game in Texas where he tweeted from the sidelines was gold

Yea I think Trevor Lawrence would've been a much better selection than Bowers.

I first heard about it last September on vacation in Destin, a random guy on the beach saw my uga gear and started telling me all about this qb1 thing. It wasn’t called season 1 at the time, it was just a one-off documentary. I later YouTubed it and was hooked after episode 1 and binge watched it all night on the patio the night before the Tennessee game, eating shrimp and drinking mich ultra as the Gulf of Mexico lapped at the sand below my perch.

They split the second season the same way. Fields at Harrison. Mitchell who eventually gets benched at John Bosco in Cali and another kid at some school in their 3rd season of having football in like Charleston or somewhere like that.

Yes him. I liked him. His story was pretty sad.

I found the first season randomly shortly after it was released online. It was really cool. I need to watch the 2nd season.

I started watching the first season on some obscure website and loved it. Haven't caught S2 yet with fields but I'd like to, any word on if S2 will hit netflix?

Compelling TV.

Look at the crowds and the athletes at Houston Co. games on both sides and compare the to PA and The semi-pro team from Nevada. Then consider there are about 50 Houston Co. type programs in every state in the original SEC. there’s no wonder JF was better than that kid from Washington state. There’s also no wonder why the area produces CFB players in the numbers it does. Even the scrubs in Georgia are athletes. The same is true in the rest of the south. Texas and California and PA just ain’t the same.....

can we just let JE go already?

Fromm looked great for sure, but there's no telling how different he'd look with a brand new 1st year coaching staff, a rhode island transfer at LT, an undersized center, a natural guard playing RT, stanley/chigbu as primary receivers, a lousy defense where friggin juwan briscoe started half the year, etc.
