Sort of...he seems to think and be confident that Bobo won't be calling plays in 2025. Won't expand on that though and Rusty is adamant Bobo will be playing caller next year. So who to believe? Rusty and Bobo are boys so is he covering for Bobo or does he know more than SoFl? Idk
The bigger one is there is apparently buzz that Carson is s seriously considering coming back for another year. Very early and not at all a given so don't take it for the gospel. Also not a guarantee he would be playing for us if he does come back...

I think him going to Pros, back here, or to a Non Sec team willing to pay are on the table.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. On one hand he's a seasoned vet and he obviuosly does have the ability to make big time NFL caliber throws. On the other hand he's seriously regressed this year, makes questionable decisions, and hasn't really seemed to be on the same page rapport-wise witih our receivers as much this year.
While it would suck going into the year with a relative unknown, it may be for the best if he moved on, IMO. fortuantely we get 2 gimmes to start the year, and if Gunner ends up being the starter next year he will have some great OTJ training coming up.

I think you're right he regressed some, but I think the WR corp being arse AND losing Young and Rara, your two bigger bodied safety blankets, hurt him a lot.
Also think Bobo could have done more to help him, namely focus more on PA and TE usage after it was apparent our WR are average at best.
With that said, he made some throws you just can't make several times and his pouty arse attitude sucks to watch. It wouldn't break my heart if he left, but if he is open to coming back I think we should try to make that happen.
A lot of this convo could change based on how Gunner looks too. We may be begging for Beck to come back in a month...hope not, but it is possible.

Also, with Pavia lawsuit granting him another year and setting the precedent that JUCO years don't count against you, Colbie Young COULD technically come back.
No buzz on that yet, and he obviously still has his court issues to deal with, but if everything broke right and he wanted to come back, he could now.

I'm not really sure he's regressed more than he's been a victim of subpar receiving core. Dropping passes and missing routes. Bobo can call a great play and Beck can make the perfect pass but if the receivers don't execute Bobo and Beck get the blame.

His coach at Kentucky went to Nebraska so he is visiting Nebraska as a favor to him.
