Dallas, what are some concerts you went to back in the day? What was your first concert? I bet you saw some good stuff.
Pretty sure my 1st show was Chicago, Santana and Joe Cocker at Atlanta Municipal Auditorium in either '68 or '69...
Seen so many over the years, saw Yes, Procol Harem, Guess Who, ABB, The Who, Stones, Alice Cooper, J Geils Band, Johnny and Edgar Winters, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Joe Walsh and the James Gang, Robin Trower, Skynyrd, ARS, BTO, Boston, Fleetwood Mac both before and after Stevie and Lindsey joined, Zeppelin, Paul McCartney and Wings, George Harrison, saw Dolly Parton at the Great Southeastern Music Hall, BOC, Kiss, Nazareth,
Richie Blackmores Rainbow Cheap Trick, Marshall Tucker before Toy died, CDB, I could go on and on, just a few offa top of my head...

Nah Dr. Rasmussen. Looked like judge Reinholds character in Seinfeld. The close talker.

I googled it, there was some major flooding in 1998 over much of Georgia, but I couldn't find anything specific to Athens. I did find a fema flood map though, showing that area is fricked anytime more than a couple inches of rain falls. It's not linkable because it's on the gis system. But having lived in that neighborhood for years, I can tell you anecdotally that anything over an inch of rain floods streets because the storm drains on the road go to the river, and when the river is flooded, the water has nowhere to go, and shuts down the streets. Or, did in the 90's. Again, it's a reason nothing was ever built in that area, going back to the 1700's. It just floods constantly. But, when the weather is nice, it does make a great place for thugs to rape and murder joggers.

Damn that's an awesome list.
I can't believe you saw both versions of Fleetwood Mac. Do you like the Peter Green version or the Stevie Nicks version better?
Did you see the original ABB lineup?

Didn't see ABB till after Duanes death...
Fleetwood Mac was like 2 different bands, before and after Nick's and Buckingham joined, guess I like the latter version the best but Peter Green doing "Oh Well" is still my fav FMac song...

God I would go in a heartbeat, but I’ll be at Monster Jam at AMS on Saturday night. I do need to bring my family for it though.

Best downtown Athens event in my UGA days was the Twilight Criterium bike race
That was nuts. No open container for the event and everyone hauling coolers down town. I’ve never seen a bigger mess in my life. This was circa 1992 or 93.
I had a styrofoam cooler full of beer and some drunk girl with our group sat on it like a dumbass …it exploded…and my beer went rolling down the street. It was like I threw out a stack of twenties to a street full of strippers.
