Remember when we used to get to watch all the state championship games on tv from the dome on this weekend? Back before transplant soccer fever took over.

There is literally nothing Atlanta touches that it doesn’t ruin. SIYG’e

That's a bit of an odd stance considering United could bring a pro title to GA for the first time in ages in just their second year of existence. Id say that's the opposite of ruining

Without Atlanta, Georgia would be Alabama or Mississippi.

I both agree and disagree with you. I like Atl Utd but I always loved the corky kell opening games and state championship games in the dome.

It’d be an odd stance for someone who gives a rats arse about pro sports. But I’m not one of those people.

I wouldn’t even know that it’s still atl soccer season if the high school championship games hadn’t gotten bumped because of it.

Now that I know, though, I hope the lose.

The writing is on the wall.

First this state nearly elects Stacey f’n Abrams as its governor, and now it’s bumping state high school championship games and traditions to accommodate soccer.

We are so f’n screwed. You have to just laugh.

The best part of atlanta is when it's in my rearview mirror.

Why it's getting moved:

Crowd for the average ATLUTD game:

Crowd for the average state championship game:

Also, one is pro and one is high school. Which did you think was going to get moved? How would that even be a question?

Am I supposed to be shocked that an ATL multi-sport mike n mike smog addict doesn’t understand the tragedy here?

Give me a break.

Hey, btw, do you quit and pout immediately when the ATL Uniteds get red cards like you do when Georgia faces adversity? Ha ha ha ha. Too funny

And lord I can't make any changes
All I can do is write 'em in a song
I can see the concrete slowly creepin'
Lord take me and mine before that comes

Nope. Just a capitalist who understands that what makes more money gets priority in a fair market. Sorry, we can't all be ideologues

the worst thing about atl united is the fans like to use southern/black slang in their little slogans.

Like "we gon shine"

Just funny cause half of the fans usually talk shite about the South and the other half are transplant yankees.
