The mortality rate based on testing is flawed considering there is no accurate numbers. In reality, you base it on population density... some will he higher than others.

How many in the world have been tested? Until someone can confirm 100% it’s all hypothetical and frenzy driven.

I agree but 1000 people a day dying is obviously serious.

Again... Do we know EVERY underlying issue with each death or are we padding stats? Never tell a joke in a nursing home, it could lead to serious consequences. That is all.

Hillary must be hating this. She would be making billions selling our supplies to other countries in exchange for Foundation contributions. Thank God she is not involved.

So... if Vermont had 10,000 outbreaks compared to California’s 9,999... California would win?

FEMA has taken over distribution. The PPE goes where it is needed most, due to national emergency. The alternative is to let it all hit the open market and let it go to whoever pays the highest price.

Do you disagree with this policy of letting FEMA dictate where the PPE goes?

That's happening anyway. Remember that the whole world needs them.

As supply ramps up, costs will come down. It costs money to transform a t shirt factory into a medical supply producer.

Whoever bids the highest wins the prize. Now states are competing with other countries too. This is a mess Trump could have prevented.

He could have opened his orange arse and started shitting out PPE and vents. But he didn't. It's his fault. He also had a conversation with Putin this week to fix oil prices. Literally. His next impeachment trial is already set up. I'm not even kidding.

"Only a portion of the medical supplies being flown in by the Federal Emergency Management Agency from overseas are being allotted to critical hotspots prioritized by the agency and the Department of Health and Human Services.

The rest will resupply the private market, where competition between states and the federal government has been a source of frustration for governors trying to shore up equipment to treat patients with coronavirus, according to multiple officials."

None to the private market. Quit making states bid against other states, FEMA, and other nations on the private market. Quit supplying the private market with what you buy on the private market. Invoke P! Make it a coordinated effort from the top down.
