That's not even an argument except in maybe among small numbers of super-fringe idiots.
Is the timing of the virus super convenient on two fronts? Sure. China was able to squash their protests overnight while also puting a halt to trade/tariff negotiations with the US, and at the same time, the US Leftwing populace got their wish... which was Trump's blustering economy turning on a dime and tanking.
Those two things are mere coincidence, though.
But aside from those things simply being mentioned as coincidentally happening at the same time overnight, there has been no real mainstream accusations of these things being a "global conspiracy".
So WTF are you talking about?
Because the media, and Leftwing in general, have without question been playing a blame-game, and daily talking points continually trying to lay some sort of responsibility on Trump for either causing this pandemic, exacerbating it somehow, or simply doing something wrong in general that caused more deaths and put Americans in harms' way.
The vast majority of which is and has been total bullshite from the start.
And pointing out the obnoxious double-standards, exaggerations, and outright lies, is not "politicizing it". It's simply defending against dishonest politicization by the other side. Something that has been happening for 3+ years, well before this virus came along.
If the Liberal Media is causing governments around the globe to over react to the point of shutting down their economies, we are gonna need answers as to who is pushing this plan of the Virus Hoax

3) Russians?
4) Chinese?

The media, in general, everywhere, makes more money in times of crisis for obvious reasons.
They all have a natural built-in incentive to make everything appear worse than it is, because fear sells viewership.
Our media just happens to be killing two birds with one stone. They've got people glued to the News, AND they are shitting on Trump (which hasn't changed since 2015).
And I'd bet you dollars to doughnuts that it's no different in every other country.
I guarantee you the media in the UK is shitting on Boris Johnson somehow. Sanchez is probably catching hell in Spain. Macron and Philippe in France. Conte and Mattarella are probably getting destroyed by the media in Italy.
It doesn't have to be a "global conspiracy", and Trump isn't the only political leader in the world surely getting lambasted by agenda politics.

The Trump Administration has taken this all very seriously and though there have been mistakes at many levels, people taking cheap shots at him at this stage are just being petty and partisan...and they are not helping this any more than people denying it is a real threat.
You can tell from Trump’s change in his stance that he got some credible intel as to the gravity of this... my bet it wasn’t the media who gave him the scoop. My bet is it was CDC and CIA both with info that make him say “holy shite”... Trump would not be doing all this for the media. Jesus Christ already.

While I agree with your general premise, impeachment as President of the U.S. is not just: "worried about losing my (any) job."
The truth is we all have limited capacity and ability to focus especially when something major is distracting us. Translation: respectfully (and I mean that) calling this "a cop out" is ignoring the reality of human nature. The President of the U.S. has a full plate. When half of that plate is covered in baseless impeachment bullshite, the bullshite is taking the place of something that could be much more productive. I don't think it's a Grand Canyon leap to suggest that the Trump admin might have been more focused on the virus if not having to deal with impeachment ramifications.

Again, I think he's done a good job. On almost everything. A measured response to something like this is hard. I don't think he needs an excuse for this. However, if he were to make an excuse, I think that's a pretty poor excuse.

1000 people had died in the US before one thing was done about H1N1, and the media barely covered it, and then actually praised him for his handling.
1 person had died with CV19 (who was already on death's door), Trump had already banned travel to/from China and several other countries, and the media was criticizing him as going overboard and calling him and the travel bans racist.
Then when they realized they could exploit the situation, they did a complete 180 and began trying to say it's his fault and he didn't do enough. Acting like they weren't JUST telling us he had done too much too soon.
The rest of the media around the world simply followed suit once they saw the US media blowing it up to astronomical proportions. Only THEN did the panic that was created exponentially scale up the overall crisis.
The panic has been worse than the illness so far. 4+ million people (and growing) almost instantly out of jobs and thousands of businesses (and growing) collapsing has been far more harmful than 2,500 people, 80% of which over the age of 70, dying.
I honestly don't know why i'm wasting my time arguing with you when you've been openly dishonest, trying to call 2,500 "closing in on" 18,000. You're just talking out your arse.
