Anything more than a very short period of economic shutdown is going to result in businesses closing, people losing their jobs, people going bankrupt, and kids getting hungry. That is worse than the China virus.
We must use common sense and take preventative measures but not to the extent that we destroy our livelihoods for a virus with a 1.3% fatality rate in the US and dropping be the day.

Flex, please don’t support our narrative without solid facts and data. We need to focus on the mythical curve that caused all this that still doesn’t mean dick. Thanks

October might have been a stretch.

I should say that I did not read this entire thread, and don't know who is on what side or who is promoting which agenda.

This will not feed the narrative of the socialists and POS mayors that now don’t want to test people....
What? I guess this thread is now dead. We've jumped the shark with the conspiracy nonsense.

Griffin Dawg...
This one was 10.5 inches. It yielded two boneless skinless filets about yay big. Not enough for a meal but plenty enough for a sandwich and a sandwich is a meal. Sandwich pics later.
Edit to add... cow shite pond won't affect the meat especially when you fry it at 360. But handling the fish and your tackle while fishing should be done like the water is full of e coli which is ten times deadlier than corona.

These selfish arse holes don’t give a shite about any of that because they can just sit at home and whine due to their lack of public health education. They are very similar to the anti war folk who whine about wars, not giving shite about the soldiers fighting the war.

As anyone with half a brain knows, the flu doesn’t do this to relatively healthy 30 year olds.

Have you never heard of war games?
Also focus on the words “exact kind of situation”.

How many examples/links do you want me to post to prove you wrong?
Because I can find quite alot... I just need to know how many I should post. I could post 2 or 3, or I could post 100. But I don't want to go to all the trouble if just 2 or 3 is enough for you to admit that's wrong.

How many people normally die in Italy in a day? Without CV?

At this point, I’m disappointed that y’all aren’t calling out Trump for being complicit in the alleged media conspiracy that has shut down damn near every 1st world country on the globe. You got to give it to the media. Who would have thought they had enough power to lead every 1st world leader willingly into certain economic catastrophe?
Agree. Very disappointing.

It’s getting beyond absurd over there. Only an idiot would try to diminish their situation. Spain is next up. They may surpass Italy soon.

DJ, I have a non-hostile non-gotcha question for you. I'm just looking for a plain answer.
CV has been here spreading like wildfire for at least 45 days. Probably longer, but that's another discussion. We had a shortage of tests, and Trump and state governments waited too long to take action, etc.
Why has the US healthcare system not yet been overwhelmed?

This is off topic from all the quibbling but do we think domestic travel and stuff will get back to "normal" by August? That's my anniversary and I'd like to travel somewhere (domestic) and ideally book soon since flights are dirt cheap, but if shite is still fricked I don't wanna take the gamble.

Absolutely. If it’s not, they will refund it anyways. Socialist government bailing everyone out.
But in all seriousness, with the new testing, lower contraction and death rates....along with very positive results of the hydroxicloriquine/Zpack cocktail, expect this to subside in the next few weeks.
I would certainly be buying cheap arse tickets for August if I had a need for personal travel

Recent Flu analysis indicates something worse. Hospitals everywhere that aren’t already qunder duress have planned for it, are waiting for it, and expecting it.

Why can't you answer my very very very simple question?
