That place really had the best fried chicken

Only thing wrong with where I grew up.
Not a single place that has good fried chicken. You pretty much had to go fast food.

It's okay bbq but way over priced. The baked beans are the best thing they serve.

I haven't been there in decades, but I remember Pitty Pat's Porch being pretty good. It could be a tourist slophouse now for all I know, though.

Great steaks! Felt like I was in a time warp when I walked into the place...beach music, women with add-a-beads...I'm assuming Ziggy's is closed.

Ziggy's moved over to the Winn Dixie shopping center a couple years ago. They tried to recreate it over there but it's just not the same.

Yes, Red Barn, hands down.
Before it closed, Alphonso's Plantation Super Club was great for special occasions.

Some of the best food I've ever put in my mouth was at one of the sea island cottages while I was on a late night call and the chef and maids were winding down and tossed me a to go plate....wish I had it like that! Frickin House has a full time staff of about 10. I know this isn't on topic, but that's the golden isles in a nutshell. Lotsa money floatin around over there on sea island.
