My in-laws are coming to visit this weekend and I'm struggling to think about what we're going to do for 2 days besides sit on the couch and watch TV. All the restaurants I know of are still take out only/no dine-in and any kind of attraction or place worth visiting is closed. Is there any kind of list for reference that shows what places have limited reopenings? Idgaf if the place isn't good I just want to find something to get out of the house and do.

The Capital Grille is open...about the only place decent. There are some smaller places that are very limited seating, and not really advertising it...from what I hear.
You could always grab some food and go sit at Piedmont Park. Take a stroll along the Beltline.

I don't live down there. Coworkers were just saying there were places during our team call Monday afternoon. I think Pho King Midtown was one. I would guess a few would be opening this weekend too, just don't know of a list

ETA: Looks like this site might be a good source for you to sift through. Cheers

In Athens most of the local places (Last Resort) etc is still closed but down Atlanta highway, Watkinsville and Epps Bridge most are open by now. Mostly the chains. Outback, etc

But I am waiting for the local joints to open like South Kitchen, Marker 7 and 5 bar....
They may be open now but where not this weekend.

My wife even suggested making the drive out to Athens since her parents have never been but I figured it wasn't worth it with everything closed. It'd be awesome if some local places would open by the wknd

As someone said get something to go in midtown and walk to piedmont park for a picnic, weather supposed to be nice and mild.

Stone Mountain park is also open.

There are a couple places around me that have "pick up" dining but they let you sit
on their patio.

I was downtown Saturday and aside from some grads taking pictures under The Arch it was dead downtown

Normally on a beautiful day like Saturday it would be hopping

No students and most places closed will do that I guess.
