Don't get fooled by the two "fierce advocates" defending Avery. They aren't what they seem to be.

Wait, I thought everyone up there knew he was guilty.

Forbes magazine published a few good articles about the Teresa Halbach murder case. Kathleen Zellner will eventually prevail.

After your post I'll argue my contention that so many people on both sides of the guilt vs innocence argument find infuriating.
Posted on 3/12/19 at 12:22 pm to Whiznot
I often see people say "there's so much the documentary left out that proves his guilt", and although I haven't seen those such things, I don't see how a rational person could look at what was presented in MAM and say that according to the rules of our legal system that avery (and dassey) should have been convicted. Did he do it? Idk, maybe. Wouldn't shock me in the slightest if he did. But that entire process, from the investigation to the representation to the interrogations and trial, was bungled from A-Z. I don't see how a jury could answer the question "do you know beyond all reasonable doubt that this man is guilty" and answer yes. Seems to me like a small bumfrick rural town where nobody liked the averys and were just tired of them so they locked him up. And poor brendan, good Lord.

Zellner's recent appeal win and her circuit court motion filed yesterday should, at a minimum, win Avery a new trial.
Yesterday's motion
Poor Brendan's has very little hope and he is a pure innocent.

If Steve gets off, wouldn't that open up a slew of new motions that could get the retard off?

So passively watching a documentary and believing everything in it is "rational"?

That's actually the opposite of being rational. It's called being programmed. Which, not by coincidence, is why it's called television "programming" to begin with.
Just like how people that watch Sean Hannity and believe everything as presented aren't "rational".....and how people that only watch MSNBC and believe everything as presented aren't "rational". Or how people that think a monteg posting on an Japanese anime, dungeons n dragons, troll message board is a covert operative with a Q clearance aren't "rational".
These people are called "Rw/SI", not "rational".

A few thoughts after just finishing last night-
1- Avery was, in part, convicted on a confession that I, personally, believe was bullshite.
2- The bullet had no bone fragments. A forensic ballistic expert fired dozens of identical rounds through similar bone and ballistcs gel, recovered them all, analyzed all under microscope, and he did it all on camera. All had significant bone matter embedded in the strike point of the projectile.
When they got the bullet from evidence under court order for examination to be witnessed by the DA office, it was shown there was zero evidence of bone material embedded in the round (although there was wood). A test was done on the molecular level to find non-visible traces of bone. Bone residue contains calcium and phosphorus. The test was completely negative. That bullet never went through bone of any kind of animal or human.
No blood residue detected.
Yet it had the victim's dna.
3- Speaking of the victim's dna, there's not a whole hell of alot of it anywhere, but Steve's is. The keychain in Steve's room had Steve's dna on it. Funny thing, none of the victim's dna was on it.
4- Surprising lack of dna in Steve's room where they allegedly raped, tortured, and gutted her like a pig.
5- But she was shot in the head in the garage where the bullet was found right? Zero dna anywhere in the garage.
