My cousin, Chuck, had lap-band surgery and it drastically decreased his belly...

I carry.
I've got a big belly so the band doesn't appeal to me. I either carry IWB or pocket carry a S&W J Frame revolver.

IWB is a Galco Summer Comfort.
And you can pocket the shield with cargo shorts. I do it from time to time in a Desantis Nemesis.

The Belly Band.....are you looking to be Batman? How much are you trying to carry?
Looking at getting a Walther CCP and will probably go with the Desantis Inside Heat. Not a big fan of the loop holsters over the clip-type.

I like the idea that you can wear them in gym shorts or whatever else you have on and they look really versatile. It's a cheap experiment, I already ordered one. Worst comes to worst I look like a ghetto dark knight for $17.

True dat. Curious to know how you like it. Personally, I'd feel like I was overdoing it. You're pretty much ready for a zombie horde with all that mess on.
