I'll bet just about every HS kid that plays football knows Kirby Smart is the Georgia Head Coach. Those same kids seeing that ZERO on the MSU side of the scoreboard probably relate that defense to KS, and that will transfer to Georgia in their pimply little brains.

Whenever the frick Smart decides to announce them. It appears that he was using the time in Jax to meet face to face with some possibilities. He mentioned in the interview today that this has been the hardest thing to manage, given that it's the piece he's never been responsible for and time to meet face to face has been difficult. Realistically, it would have been hard even if he were at UGA right now assuming a lot of the coaches he's looking at are still coaching in the bowl season. Will be happy to have them all locked down. Particularly a WR coach. I see all these freaking top 100/300 guys on ESPNU earlier today talking about going to Minnesota or some other shite school and wonder "why is UGA not in their top list?" We have next to nothing on the depth chart and just secured the top rated Pocket Passer... I hope Eason is talking to some WRs because Godwin looked good today but I don't see him as a take over the game WR.

I can name you several other new HC's who haven't got their staff's completely filled out, and one of them is down in Miami, spreading the gospel of the sky fairy.

You dont understand that it doesnt matter if Kirby wasnt being name dropped on TV all night long. All that matters is that Kirby told recruits to watch HIS defense dominate, and for them to envision doing that for him at UGA. Thats a good thing for the UGA program going forward.

He had a good glimpse of that in October, and will get all winter, spring, summer, and fall to do that. Not to mention he has 4 of his coaches watching and the ability to view practice from wherever he is thanks to a thing called the internet.
