Absolutely ALL of which be done from his office in Tuscaloosa

You can't be this freakin stupid. You actually think he can accomplish the same thing from Tuscaloosa working PART TIME for UGA as opposed to being in Athens and working full time?

quote:

God you hate Kirby don't you

How the hell did you make this leap?My point was,the players were getting the most of the praise for the performance last nt as they should have.Dude, you're acting like a teenage girl defending Justin Bieber...get a freakin grip

quote:

Kirby will be at the game

So this is the SAME thing as being at every single practice evaluating amd getting to know his players?
Jesus dude, you really need to get some perspective.

At the end of the day we all want whats best for the program and Kirby being in Tuscaloosa helping Bama win
another NC is not in the best interest of our program.

I gotta go with HRD (and Kirby for that matter) on this one. Kirby staying through Alabama's championship run can do nothing but good things for Georgia. It shows his loyalty to players, talks about Georgia with tens of millions of eyeballs, and he put on an absolutely dizzying defensive show last night. He works on recruits daily and has put together his staff. He's got plenty of time to analyze his new team before next fall.

I think the rub is some people think Alabama winning the CFP will somehow hurt Georgia's recruiting. Alabama is going to be Alabama. They have more national titles than anybody in the country with a sitting coach that is one of the best of all time. They are a known commodity. No recruit will think "well shite. Alabama didn't win the national title this year. Better scratch them off my list."

This might be your entitled opinion, but know that's all it is and it's not inline with the majority of GSB ranters.

I would never kick a Dawg before it bit me know that.

I made another post acknowledging this. I spoke out of school, and corrected it without an edit.

That post was simply for the benifit of the butthurt fans that still pine for Richt. I have zero expectations of him these days, which is actually no different than when he was here.

I'm taking Kirby at his word, and until I see the error in that, I will continue to support rather than criticise. Richt is in Miami.

Nah. Your point was to call out some posters and now you've been called out. Richt is in Miami.

Not the same thing at all. That said, I am sure that you were just as critical of St. Mark when he did the same thing at FSU, correct? He is in Miami.

Conjecture.

Fact: Richt is in Miami.

Just think what would have happened had he left Alabama and come to UGA and with him being gone they shut Michigan State out?

I don't want to think of that...this post wins the entire argument. Ouch!

Kirby let the goose egg text/tweet them back.

Kirby coming to UGA wasn't mentioned much last night....lets place our bets on how many times Alabama going to the NCG and shutting out MSU is mentioned tomorrow....

Is this best ya got?First I "hated" Kirby and now
Im pining for CMR? Hilaroius, those days are gone for good and I couldn't be happier.

quote:

You did the same thing when CMR was at FSU

Absolutely, are you freakin kidding me?As a matter of fact I used him as an example several times when talking about this situation.Bobby Bowden amd CMR agreed it was a mistake.Mack Brown said the same thing last night about his coaching moves amd trying to do both.

You've been called out

About what? Your diluted accusations and "conjecture"

quote:

For Smart, the chance to be mentioned as one of the best defenses ever can only help draw attention to Georgia. Several times in the last week, he’s been able to talk about both jobs, delivering de facto recruiting messages through the media. Just being shown on TV during the game Thursday was free publicity.

It’s clear that Smart is ready to get to Athens and get going, but with another win, he faces 10 more days until he’s released from his duties as defensive coordinator.

In the meantime, he plans on attending Georgia’s bowl game against Penn State.

Getting to Jacksonville and watching the game shouldn’t be too much of a time drain for Smart, who can’t have enough hours in the day lately. But as Alabama prepares to face a difficult Clemson offense, it represents yet another opportunity to stretch him thin.

When Smart finally mustered the energy to jog off the field after beating Michigan State, what awaited him at the entrance of the tunnel? SEC commissioner Greg Sankey, who wanted to talk to his league's newest head coach.

No matter where Smart runs or where he hides, he is stuck in two worlds right now.

Just thinking about it is exhausting.

quote:

Junior defensive end Jonathan Allen, who had a pair of sacks against Michigan State, characterized the last two weeks with Smart as “intense.”

“So focused and locked in,” he said.

Junior defensive back Maurice Smith said he doesn't know how Smart has done it, admitting that there must have been some “sleepless nights."

Said defensive end D.J. Pettway: "I have never seen that man not come to work and not be prepared. He’s the most focused, intense guy I’ve ever played for.”

This cannot help. Woe is us.

OMG,what to do?I know it disappoints you when I actually use logic and reasoning to have a discussion but this
statement is amazingly emotional and void of logic especially for an 8th grade QB like yourself.

I'll bet just about every HS kid that plays football knows Kirby Smart is the Georgia Head Coach. Those same kids seeing that ZERO on the MSU side of the scoreboard probably relate that defense to KS, and that will transfer to Georgia in their pimply little brains.

This makes too much sense. It doesn't fit the narrative established here that Kirby is a selfish piece of shite who is single handedly destroying our recruiting class. Fall in line, cowboy!
