Agreed. Defense did well considering all the bad situations they were put in.

I saw improvement all around. That's all we can ask for....constant, steady improvement. I was encouraged by this game.

I don't think the defense is that good... we played against a team with no offense and still lost by 2 TD's...

It felt worse than it was. When they commented FL only had 60 yds rushing I could've sworn they had 200.

Defense is average at best. UF OC made a lot of bone headed play calls

I don't think the defense is that good... we played against a team with no offense and still lost by 2 TD's...

UF played half court all day....if they had an offensive pulse at all we would've lost by 4 TDs or more...

Exactly again, D is OK, receivers OK, QB very good, RBs very good, special teams still need work but they were better. Oline is an absolute joke - can't run block, can't pass protect, the worst I have ever seen - where do you place that blame, I don't know. But you don't win D1 games, much less SEC games, with a line like that.

WR ok? Ummm no. How many easy drops. McKenzie is the most productive and his below average if you look at college football overall.
The rest of your essenent is accurate but I would still downgrade all units a bit including RB's.

Tennessee was three games ago, man. I saw improvement over the South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Was it the best game we have played this year? no. But South Carolina and Vanderbilt and Missouri are REALLY bad teams and I think we played better yesterday than against any of those. This was probably the 2nd or third best game we have played.
For the poster who said "Really? On offense?"
I am talking about the team. I can find areas in every game in which the previous game looked better. But overall, as a team, we looked more motivated, focused, and organized. the coaches still are not adjusting to us having a smaller OL. We are not taking bigger splits and are trying to use a power blocking scheme. There are areas we need improvement in, but as a team we looked better.
I was not embarrassed yesterday like I was the previous 2 weeks.
