Remember that McGarity announced that same year that the black jerseys would be worn one home game per year. Forever. But Naban’s head Coaching balls hadnt dropped fully at that point...so he tolerated black jerseys once (with zero hype or fanfare and against every instinct in his body) then cancelled McGaritys black jersey plan forever.
This is also the guy who’s not afraid to call for an end to the WLOCP tradition which is sacred to so many. A bold act which requires a mighty and substantial sack.
You see? Sick Naban does not care what anyone else wants. He sees what HE wants. And then takes it.
It’s weird and disappointing that Fromm doesn’t even understand his own coach in this way.

Yeah, those are sharp.
I just don’t see any of it happening under a Naban regime though. Unless maybe after we break thru with a natl championship, and then only a very giant “maybe.”
Another thing to understand, beyond the Sick Naban principles, (I mean, come on fellows...he took away the dawg bone helmet stickers too for gosh sakes)....is that Kirby has the very unique experience of having witnessed a uga blackout up close and personal. On the other team. So he knows things we are t capable of knowing.
Hate to spoil the fantasy dream party, but This is the real world Sick has built for us. Bask in its rules and parameters!

I think we did not realize how far we were from what saban had built in his time. Murray got close but more in a Clemson esque way at our 12 squad had like 68 scholly players.
I hear it from other fan bases alot about how close they are, but if all things are equal as far as injuries, they are not close. We have more 5* guys than the rest of the east combined, we are usually better at at least 8 positions on the field at any time and sometimes we have better players than all 22 starting positions of the other team.

Let’s get real and talk about the one uniform amendment we may actually have a shot at getting implemented.
I speak of course, about getting the Georgia state flag added to the back of UGA football helmets. And this one’s not up to Nabes.
Think about it. If we swarm Kemp’s mansion like the Area 51 people are doing, what choice will he have? He’ll have to put our flag in there like most other schools do.
