Me neither. Newman is better than Lambert in every way. He put up better numbers on a less talented team that would have been a much worse team had Newman not been the QB. Kid took an abysmal roster (honestly an impressively inept O-Line) put them on his back, and carried them to an 8-5 record and a Bowl.

Worth Noting: Lambert went from Virginia to the SEC, and his numbers improved with better talent around him. Newman is coming from the least talented team in the ACC (5th worst P5 roster) to one of the 2-3 most talented teams in the country. I think it's reasonable to expect some pretty good numbers.

Good points. The obvious difference is that Lambert lost his starting job at UVA and Newman is transferring to improve draft stock
