Could also be a situation where sofl has some personal bias like with Kimber and Milton.

Never saw his posts about fromm though so can't say how those read. He has openly admitted to having a personal bias for the other two I just mentioned though.

Agree it was a hard lesson, but I don’t blame Fromm for making what appeared to be counter demands. Once you open the door to that, that’s gonna happen and agree it was likely a hard but good lesson for Smart on how to run things. You have to accept you are going to lose kids, but the team is more important.

Maybe.
Generally, I see his personal bias with S Florida kids.
His relationship with parents and families (Milton and kimber) push back more on slander and/orrepeated narratives (you can say it once. But continuing a thread with counter-arguments with select parental eyes on the website is a no-no).

You are correct. He definitely goes to bat for a percentage of the team.
As he describes it, "what would you do for a friend?"
Or "what would you regret not doing for a friend?"
From that lense, it is easy to see the reason for defensiveness.

To be fair to the kids, a lot of this was discussing the parents/guardians.
The players may not wear those emotions. Or they may not even hint at acknowledging the situation in the locker room. But the parents/guardians are quick on the phone.

The lesson in its entirety is Big Team little me.
Kirby has to stick to his process with very little bend.

The only thing I know for sure is this tread only exists because our schedule is trash.

I've never looked forward to a SCe game more than this week.
