At what fricking point do we get to where we need to be>? The season is half over you fricking goon. What...by the time the Gala rolls around we will be one stout defense! I'm telling you! Guys by the time we get to the Stink-Finger Gay pride Bowl and chili cookoff we will be a motherfricking force to reckon with!
I wish he would stop the fricking bullshite and just say...well I really haven't coached well so far and the defensive woes are ON me. Claydawg and the guy who started this thread have no clue about how a defense works, and how defenses get better over time. This is real football, not a video game.

It's hard to take a fatass seriously anyway; especially one who works in athletics. He's got free access to some of the best training equipment, and he's a frickin 747. It's like when you go to the doctor for a check up and your nurse is inevitably a thousand pounds. I know plenty about footall and even more to the fact that we suck at it on defense...at some point I think you can say assuredly that we prob won't be getting much better on defense...it is what it is.
I want Grantham to stop making excuses and take some of the fricking blame for one of the worse defenses (regardless of who is playing) in the country.

That's how your going to talk to a fellow Dawg fan, huh? You realize we're pulling for the same team, right?
Again, it is not an excuse. That's just how defenses work. They gel and get better over time. I would love for you to say that in front of Grantham and Richt.

He hasn't failed his Final Exam yet but he has definitely blown his Mid Terms.
And even if he and his defense studies night and day for the Final, the best he can do at this point is a C average.

If things Gel and get better over time so much, why did 2012's defense play worse than 2011's even though many of the same players returned?

Funny you ask. No, not really. But like sandwich, I think it's ridiculous that the guy can make what he makes and sit back and not once blame himself.
As far as I'm concerned, next year is the tell-all year for Grantham. There will be no young and inexperienced excuse unless mentioning the backups. We'll still have most of the DL,DB, and LB. Hell, the only starter we'll lose on defense to graduation is Garrison Smith. If we're sitting at this point next year, I may have a different opinion, but for now, no. Keep him.

Fire Grantham... Hell motherfricking yes! Position coaches don't necessarily have to go. They can't coach 18-22 old kids when they themselves don't understand the fricking scheme that fat overpaid slug preaches. Onward...

Is it bad that I almost want us to tank at this point if it means getting rid on Grantham? Seriously, how could we do worse? I'm no fan of Lakatos right now, but just like I posted a moment ago in the recruiting thread, either the kids in the secondary are functionally retarded, or Lakatos is getting nowhere trying to teach them Grantham's convoluted scheme. Whatever the case may be, it ain't working. Branden Smith & Bacarri Rambo were brilliant, so I'm not as apt to blame the Secondary Coach.

I don't think we'll have to give up 50 each game. The number we've given up is more than enough. If the offense continues to sputter along, it will be more than obvious to everyone. The only thing that has saved CTG's oversized rear end so far has been the offense. If our offense plays like garbage with the injuries, it will be even more obvious that the defense is the problem.
I thought this was going to be a rebuilding year, but then I was told that we've got more potential talent and depth than we did last year, and they just needed to be coached up a bit. Well, I have seen squat so far.

If you are happy with 8-4, 9-3, then fess up. You get a free Disney membership.
I, for one, am sick of excuses. I could be happy with a 9-3 record if the team clearly overachieved, played with passion, played hard nosed, error free ball. GA has the reputation for being soft. GA doesn't play disciplined ball, and the program underachieves every year.
Stick around. In a few days the Disneys will come out of hiding and you will have some compadres to hang with.
